UPDATE: we won! We received a Golden Beaver Award for Canadian Content. Yay!

We’re thrilled to have our first official erotic short film selected for Good For Her’s 8th Annual Feminist Porn Awards. It was amazing fun to produce this film {with lovely Nymph as our starlet} and we’re super excited to have been nominated next to some crazy talented filmmakers.

If you want to see the full length short as well as some other FPA selections, come by the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema this Thursday. Then you can come party with us at Capitol Theatre for the gala award ceremony on Friday. For more info, check out the Good For Her FPA website.

A Few Mornings After The Night Before: Girls on Film VIII

by The Madame

Archean, Dainty Knees & Miss S, by The Madame

It took a few days, but we’re finally recovered from our latest all-cameras event.

We hosted 40 photographers at furniture warehouse Metropolis Factory and we had tonnes of fun.

AJ, Archean, Dainty Knees, Maggie May, Miss S & Sid Licious did a magnificent job posing for the cameras, surrounded by industrial chic. TKS HeadRigger JP Robichaud was equally impressive with his mad rope skills.

Massive thanks to Toni Wallachy from Pink Panther Studios and her crew for setting up our lighting stations. Also to Jaime Heinke, Terrence Drake and The Man for helping the day run smoothly. BigUps to Phil & Metropolis Factory for their amazing space and service.

The success of our Girls on Film events has us all excited to prepare for IX and X for the warmer months. We’re hoping to go even bigger and better, so stay tuned to our site, Facebook page, and our newsletter, The Keychain, for further deets.

We’ll be posting the afternoon’s Playlist within the next few days, as well as a Photographer’s Gallery. So if you’ve got shots or links you’d like to share, please send them our way.

See you at Girls on Film IX!

It’s time: Girls on Film VIII

by The Madame

The Keyhole Sessions is proud to present it’s 8th all-cameras event. We’re going dark & grungy at Metropolis Factory. Brick walls, chains, catwalks and eclectic furniture will round out industrial chic.

As always, we present you with 5 lovely models and our HeadRigger, JP Robichaud, for an afternoon of truly fun & debaucherous photography. Divided into three 40-minute acts, with two 15-minute intermissions.

Models:

AJ
Archean
Maggie May
Miss S
Sid Licious

All guests must come with a camera and prepared to shoot. Best expectations are for photographers to be working in manual modes. NO motion/video. No tripods due to space limitations.

We will be creating stations that will be both specially lit with flashes permitted, and specially lit with no flashes permitted.

Metropolis is the warehouse location of Factory, a reclaimed furniture boutique located in The Junction. 2 levels of shooting.

*All tickets must be purchased ahead of time through our online ticketing agent, Eventbrite.*
Ticket quantity capped at 40. Better get yours fast!

TKS starts off 2013 with our first ‘official’ erotic flick

by The Madame

courtesy Terrence Drake

Woohoo! We’ve finally moved forward with our devious plan to create some lovely film. Over 8 days, I shot, directed and edited a 5 minute film {I prefer the term ‘film’, despite everything shot on video these days. It’s just sexier}. Thanks to my lovely starlette, Nymph, the final product is pretty sweet.

The most interesting aspect of this project is that it was shot entirely with the camera on my iPhone 5. The quality is quite grand, and I like the restrictions this creates. It makes for a much easier ‘get up and go’ attitude to shooting.

I’ve written about the whole experience in my SexPlus column for Toronto Standard, including why I’m shooting it in the first place.

We’ve submitted the film to Good For Her’s 2013 Feminist Porn Awards. We are also currently devising a low-cost distribution model so we can spread the lust far and wide.

Here’s the trailer…

I hope you like. Drop me a line if you’ve got compliments, critique, your own thoughts on porn, what you’d like to see.

sad face reminder: no more life-drawing

by The Madame

We would like to remind our beloved artists who carry pencil and paper that we are no longer hosting monthly life-drawing events. While it was a blast for 3 years, it’s now time to move on {a Madame never likes to outstay her welcome}, and we will be focussing on photo and video events in 2013.

We hope to see you and your cameras very soon! Stay apprised via this site and our Facebook Page.
