The only thing better than spending Tuesday evenings drawing lovely models tied up in rope is watching others paint lovely models tied up in rope. Last night we joined Art Battle for the 6th and final Battle of the season.

Our evening began with Skellington and Bella Fox presenting in-flight safety procedures and the best use of a rolly suitcase. Shortly afterwards, TKS joined the throngs of people in the Main Hall to add that extra oomph to twenty-minute paint slingin’. TKS HeadRigger JP Robichaud tied on-stage to the delight of many, with our models the subject for the final Battle. Painting on one side and an impromptu group of sketchers on the other, the battle pitted pro against amateur, with fantastic results.

The final paintings fetched the highest bids of any Art Battle to date, and although this Madame lost her own auction battle, we’re very pleased to have had a part in this amazing event. Huge thanks to Simon Plashkes and Hinto Khonesty and their amazing battle crew for inviting us, and congrats for a great night.
