Hottest motherfuckers on the whole damn block
ok, so it’s not quite morning, but when you’ve been up for an insane amount of hours, be happy I got this out at all today.
Well, it’s finally over. After months of planning and a crazy week setting up, Girls.Grease.Rope. has come and gone. Thankfully, it was a smashing success.
From the moment our first model got cozy on the Triumph in the window, and to the first model stepping on stage, the night progressed through a series of amazing poses, all in FightClub chic, decorated in spectacular rope.
I’d like to thank all our models:
Bella Fox
Jennifer Rose
Mara S.
Miss S.
Pandora La Glamme
Skellington
Susie Caboose
Styled in black&blue make-up, they lit up the stage like nobody’s business, in creative poses befitting of The Keyhole Sessions. Nothing will describe them better than the photos. Check ’em out in our TMATNB Photos Category.
Topping it all off were the insane skills of our rope riggers, JP Robichaud and LotusLily, whose impromptu and creative ties added something beautiful and unexpected.
We knew we had a hot ticket on our hands by the crowds our window was drawing {How can you not want to enter a room where a beautiful woman or two is beckoning you from atop a Triumph motorbike?}. When the police entered, I was nervous until our doorman said it was because he was calling his fellow cops to come and see what all our fuss was about. Nice.
Our room filled very quickly with both artists {yes, everyone that sat to draw is considered an artist in our book}, and onlookers, all amazed at what they witnessed on stage. The drawings that lined our back wall by the end of the night was evidence of a good time had. There’s some pretty sweet talent among our citizens.
It was great to see many of our regular artists come out as well. We hope all that came out had as good a time as we did. Maybe we’ll do it all again next year {provided we’ve slept enough by then}.
I’d also like to shout-out to many peeps that helped our night become the success it was:
Jim Bawks. Without his Triumph in the window, there would have been no pedestal for our lovely models. And no, a milk crate is not the same. And to Alison Schofield. You kept our much-needed bevvies cool.
Paul Potvin at Location Equipment Supply. Your heat lamp kept those aformentioned models nice and toasty atop that chrome machine. Heat begets heat.
Jeff Goldberg at Sonic Events. Your sound system made our beats sound amazing, and helped create the awesome vibe.
Mark Chong. Supplying us with that crazy cool drawing for our banners. A perfect greeting to all visitors.
Michael, Kelly, & Laird at Lower Ossington Theatre. Thanks for opening your doors super late for us. We couldn’t have had it at any other location. We wouldn’t want to.
Stu Campbell, John Latimer, & Bubba. Stu for setting us up with John and Bubba, our awesome muscle. You kept us safe from drunken fools. And for all three for staying super late to help strike and cart heavy shit.
ADDEccentric. For taking pics throughout the night and being enthusiastic. We can’t wait to see those shots!
Definitely not least, Aaron Barnett. Without your endless support, The Keyhole Sessions would not exist. All your help leading up to Girls.Grease.Rope. despite my crankiness help me hold onto sanity.
Thanks to everyone that set foot in The Keyhole Studio. When I took a stroll up the street to see other events, I realized we really were “the hottest motherfuckers on the whole damn block”.

[...] Blanche came and went on Saturday and it marked my life modeling debut for The Keyhole Sessions. Girls. Grease. Rope. was a six-hour long event where I got to pose on the platform with six other incredibly attractive [...]
Amazing! I did live model drawings when I was a teenager, which was pretty exciting at the time I’ve got to admit, but – ah… nothing like the show you and the girls put on. My drawings were pretty ‘sketchy’ but everyone including the models was having such a great time it was tough to concentrate – kudos. Thanks for a great event!
[...] off, but we’re already thinking about this year’s Nuit Blanche. If you weren’t at last year’s, well… sucks to be you. But the good news is that this year’s will be even better. [...]
