Last night we celebrated the fine sin of Gluttony by paying tribute to Bacchus. AJ warmed up our stage the bar wrapped in a chiton and bedecked with flowers and grapes for the evening’s appetizer. The main course kicked off with Mara and Jacki enjoying meat, a bottle of bubbly and each other, with AJ ‘presenting’ their meal. Dessert was a delicious mess of cupcakes and ice-cream. Needless to stay, they all went home happily sticky.

Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the festivities. It was great to see peeps that are becoming regulars, as well as a few we haven’t seen in a while. Though the temporary space was quite tight, it turned out to be a pretty lovely, intimate affair. We do promise to be in the larger upstairs room for the remainder of the year, so you can stretch out {and have easier access to the bar!}. Grand thanks to OMG Baked Goodness for the sweet {vegan!} treats. Make sure to pay them a visit when you’re in the west end of the city.

DON’T FORGET to submit to DirtyWork, our exhibition of TKS art at The Gladstone Hotel in July. Submit by June 22nd for selection: all you have to do is send your submission fee and lo-res jpegs of the work you’d like us to consider {you can send scans or photos}. Once we’ve culled all the submissions and selected the final pieces, we’ll inform you so you can prep them for framing and delivery to the show in July. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. We’ll do what we can to accommodate all who want to submit.

Remember we’re taking a break from the 7 Deadly Sessions to celebrate Gay Pride in July. We’re having an all-male tribute on July 10th, so don’t miss it! We’ll return to regularly scheduled sinning in August.
