So there’s no TKS this summer. Don’t let that get in the way of finding dirty things to look at. Go say hi to our very own Skellington {aka PrettyPoopie} at her first solo art show, Casual Encounters.

From the invite:

Adult ads, pornography, Craigslist personals: we have many methods of seeking intimate moments and finding others to share them with. This show is about sex and the different ways we connect with one another in order to fulfill the natural desires that make us human.

Special Reception this Thursday night from 7 to 9 pm at Come As You Are. Debaucherous art surrounded by sex toys. What more could you want?

The Morning After The Night Before: TKS meets Art Battle 05|18|10

The only thing better than spending Tuesday evenings drawing lovely models tied up in rope is watching others paint lovely models tied up in rope. Last night we joined Art Battle for the 6th and final Battle of the season.

Our evening began with Skellington and Bella Fox presenting in-flight safety procedures and the best use of a rolly suitcase. Shortly afterwards, TKS joined the throngs of people in the Main Hall to add that extra oomph to twenty-minute paint slingin’. TKS HeadRigger JP Robichaud tied on-stage to the delight of many, with our models the subject for the final Battle. Painting on one side and an impromptu group of sketchers on the other, the battle pitted pro against amateur, with fantastic results.

The final paintings fetched the highest bids of any Art Battle to date, and although this Madame lost her own auction battle, we’re very pleased to have had a part in this amazing event. Huge thanks to Simon Plashkes and Hinto Khonesty and their amazing battle crew for inviting us, and congrats for a great night.

The Morning After The Night Before: Girls on Film 05|11|10

Well, we’re very pleased to say that our first-ever all-camera Session was a success. A room full of photographers snapping away at AJ, Dolores del Fuego, Jennifer Rose, Pandora LaGlamme & Skellington was a great sight to behold.

We had four stations from which these lovely ladies strutted their stuff, with TKS HeadRigger JP Robichaud gliding among them, rope and accoutrements at the ready.

A huge thanks to all that attended. TKS is thrilled to have artists from a different medium become part of our community, and we’re very excited to see samples of what you shot. We’ll be posting a list of photographers links so we can spread the love.

what better to do with puppets than fondle them?

Thanks to all that came out last night to watch Skellington play rude tea party with Jason Steve the Bear, and then be roped around by Kitty Kerosene. As a young, innocent girl, my marionettes never did such fine things…

Thanks to Caleigh Sprague for decorating our model’s tresses with such sweets treats. And of course to JP for his mad skills.

And to those that helped strike, and brought tasty Scottish pancakes. yay!

Please, please, please with sugar on top clean up your area after the Session. We’ve got to strike our room by a certain time, and wiping up mounds of charcoal from the floor eats up our time. We still love you; just more so when you clean up after yourselves.
